Composition and Collage

I am taking an online "Composition for Collage" class with Claudine Hellmuth. It is week one of a 4 week class, and I have only managed to get one collage done.

Claudine talked about collage being like a puzzle, and this one had me stumped for quite some time.

I changed just about all of the elements that I was working with from the time I started until it was finished.

But I was really happy with how it came together in the end.

  1. I love the natural colours you use in your work and this collage is beautiful. Can I ask you what you used to stick the leaf down as I have a pressed poppy I would like to use but I am afraid of spoiling it.
